Ecovert, a member of BPA, is proud to celebrate the LEED Platinum certification of Portland Commons, a project that sets a strong benchmark for sustainable commercial building design and performance.
As the highest level of certification under the LEED rating system, LEED Platinum recognizes projects that demonstrate exceptional achievement in sustainability, energy efficiency, environmental stewardship, and occupant wellbeing.
Portland Commons incorporates a wide range of sustainable features designed to reduce environmental impact while enhancing the user experience. The building supports low-carbon transportation through extensive electric vehicle charging infrastructure and secure bicycle facilities complete with maintenance tools. Its site design meets rigorous standards for stormwater management, heat island reduction, and light pollution mitigation, helping to create a more resilient urban environment.
The project also prioritizes long-term operational performance through energy- and water-efficient building systems, while thoughtful fenestration strategies maximize access to natural daylight and contribute to occupant comfort throughout the space.
Ecovert is proud to have supported the project team and our client Carttera in achieving this significant milestone and advancing sustainable building practices in the commercial sector.
